Amanda Seales formerly Amanda Diva (born in Los Angeles California on July 1 of 1980) is a Comedian and DJ. Amanda moved to Orlando when she was eight years old. Following her graduation from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando and attending SUNY Purchase to study undergrad. She earned her Columbia University masters in African American Studies with a focus on hip-hop is her second qualification. Her first appearance was in the now-cult Nickelodeon sitcom My Brother and Me (1994) in the role of Deonne and later became known to the public for her role as a VJ Amanda Diva, the face of hip-hop on MTV2 Sucker Free Sundays. She spent some time working as a spoken-word poet and recording artist. In 2011 she returned to TV and also added stand-up comedy to her credits. The CEO is DivaWorks Inc., her production firm where she creates hilarious content that is funny and also acts on stage. She is very involved in the projects that aim to inspire young women.
